31 Easy October Dinner Ideas: Week by Week
Here’s a look at all 31 dinners, broken out week by week so you can see exactly what’s coming up.
Week 1: October 1 to 3
We ease into the month. Slow Cooker Brats with Onions and Peppers kick off Thursday, Friday brings a rich Marry Me Chicken Pasta, and Saturday is a big pot of Slow Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup for the first cool weekend.
Week 2: October 4 to 10
A hearty, hands-off stretch. Start with Baked Spaghetti, then Sweet Potato Black Bean Curry and Chicken and Shrimp Fried Rice for easy weeknights. Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf anchors Wednesday, followed by a Buttermilk Brined Turkey Breast, Air Fryer BBQ Chicken Wings, and Air Fryer Meatloaf to round out the week.
Week 3: October 11 to 17
Hearty food is in full swing. Slow Cooker Velveeta Mac n Cheese and Stove Top Chili open the week, then Pumpkin Chili and a Meatball Parmigiana Sub. Thursday is Creamy Chicken Enchiladas with Sour Cream, and the weekend brings Slow Cooker Butter Chicken Meatballs and Philly Cheesesteak Sliders with Hawaiian Rolls.
Week 4: October 18 to 24
A little something for everyone this week. Chili and Cornbread Casserole and Pumpkin Tofu Curry cover the meat-free nights, then Meatball Parmigiana, a One Pot Orzo with Broccoli and Butter Beans, and a Warm Kale and Lentil Salad. The weekend gets playful with Piggies in a Blanket Air Fryer and Air Fryer Pizza, perfect for Halloween week.
Week 5: October 25 to 31
We finish the month big. Smoked Meatloaf and Smoked Sirloin Tip Roast are worth the low and slow, then Smoked Gouda Mac and Cheese, Beef Cabbage Soup, and Naan Flatbread Pizza. Close out Halloween with Sheet Pan Chicken Thighs and a proper Cottage Pie with Cheese.
