Ingredients
  

  • 6 bratwursts
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 large onions sliced
  • 3 bell peppers sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Brown the bratwursts on all sides for about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Transfer the browned bratwursts to the slow cooker.
  • Add the sliced onions, bell peppers, and minced garlic on top of the bratwursts.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the chicken broth, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, black pepper, and salt.
  • Pour the mixture over the bratwursts and vegetables in the slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the bratwursts are fully cooked and the vegetables are tender.
  • Serve the bratwursts with the onions and peppers on rolls or with your favorite sides.
  • Garnish with fresh chopped parsley, if desired.
