Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Measuring Spoons

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 jar Pasta sauce 24 ounces
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 ounces spaghetti uncooked
  • Grated Parmesan cheese optional for serving

Instructions

  • Heat a large pot over medium-high heat and cook the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Cook for 5 minutes, or until fully browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Stir in the chopped onion and minced garlic. Continue cooking for about 5 minutes, until the onions are softened.
  • Pour in the pasta sauce and beef broth. Season with dried basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together and bring it to a boil.
  • Add the spaghetti, then reduce the heat to a simmer. Cover the pot and let it cook, stirring occasionally, for 10-15 minutes, until the spaghetti is tender and cooked through.
  • Once the pasta is done, remove the pot from the heat.
  • Serve with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese, Enjoy!

Notes

*** If you like it extra saucy, use two jars of sauce.
