Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups ketchup
  • ½ cup brown sugar packed
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup water

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a medium saucepan.
  • Stir until everything is well combined.
  • Place over medium heat and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if needed, then store or use as desired.

-Let it simmer, don’t rush it:
Giving the sauce time to simmer helps all the flavors come together and slightly thickens the texture.
