Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of russet potatoes peeled and cut into chunks
  • 4 cloves of garlic minced
  • ½ cup of unsalted butter at room temperature
  • ½ cup of whole milk warmed
  • ½ cup of sour cream
  • 2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper

  • Mash the potatoes with a potato masher until smooth and creamy.
  • Taste the mashed potatoes and adjust the seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.
  • Transfer the garlic mashed potatoes to a serving dish and garnish with freshly chopped parsley
