  • 2 boxes instant vanilla pudding 3.4 oz each
  • cups spiced rum
  • 1 cup eggnog
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg plus extra for garnish, if desired
  • 4 oz Cool Whip extra for garnish
  • Whole star anise optional garnish

Instructions
 

  • Set up 19 plastic shot cups on a cookie sheet for easy filling and chilling.
  • In a large bowl, combine pudding mix, rum, eggnog, milk, and 1 tsp nutmeg. Beat with a hand mixer until thick.
  • Gently fold in the Cool Whip with a spatula until fully combined.
  • Fill cups about ¾ full with the mixture. Cover with lids.
  • Chill for 1 hour if you prefer them cold.
  • Before serving, add a dollop of Cool Whip, a sprinkle of nutmeg, and, if you like, a whole star anise for extra flair.
