Hi there! Thanks so much for catching that, and sorry for the confusion. It should read 1 cup (2 sticks) of unsalted butter, softened. Both measurements are the same, so no extra butter is needed. I have updated the recipe. Hope you enjoy the cookies!

Does the recipe call for 1 cup or 1 cup AND 2 sticks of butter? I tried to scale the recipe to see how that specific ingredient scaled, but it was still unclear to me.
