Hi Justine! Thank you so much for your message, you’re absolutely right to ask. The filling is made with powdered sugar, not brown sugar. I had updated part of the recipe earlier and missed removing that brown-sugar note in the ingredient explanation, so it ended up giving mixed signals. I just corrected it so everything lines up properly now.
